On one hand there are experts like Graham Cluley, security consultant who opines that using a password manager is like putting all your eggs in one basket while there are some who opine that it is a good idea. Bunmi Sowande, technical consultant at F-Secure nodded in support of password managers and advised the users not to set their passwords at their own and instead delegate the task to the app.
Bunmi Sowande said that the websites with easy passwords act like a protective shield against the breaches. If one of such sites is breached, the other sites also become highly vulnerable if they are protected with the same password. He opines that a strong password is necessary for important sites and those linked with Facebook, Twitter, banking and credit card and others which makes it mandatory for the users to employ a password manager.
